Drew has 25 years of experience, the last 15 as SVP at the Austin Chamber of Commerce leading, variously, efforts in education, talent development, transportation, military innovation, air service and local, state and federal advocacy. Drew played a major role in legislation affecting state economic development tools, transportation, education and higher education. He is a noted expert in national, state and regional policy and program. Previously, Drew served as Founder and interim Executive Director of the Center for State Scholars and for 6 years led policy and local engagement efforts for the Texas Business & Education Coalition. Over his 25 years of public service, Drew has developed deep and lasting relationships with key elected officials, CEOs, military leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, think tanks, academics and members of the media.
